Pastor Geml is originally from the suburban Detroit area. He and his wife Ruth were married in October 1984. They have three children, Jaclyn, Angela and Steven. Pastor Geml earned a degree in Family Life Education from Spring Arbor College in Spring Arbor, Michigan. He also earned his Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He has served as Associate Pastor at St. Mark since 2003; accepted the call to be Senior Pastor in 2006. Pastor Geml has a true passion for all of God's people.
Mrs. Crane has been serving as the Director of Parish Music and Music Teacher at St. Mark for five years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education in 2004 from Cleveland State University, graduating with honors. She uses the Kodaly Pedagogy of music education in her approach to teaching and directing ensembles, and has completed her first level in the Kodaly teacher training. She enjoys working with young and old alike to help all realize their God-given talents.
